How to: Set up a new employee with First Super

Since the introduction of the Federal Government’s SuperStream programme, there’s been many changes to the way in which employers pay their employees’ super contributions.

Likewise, First Super is working hard to reflect the new requirements in its systems to improve and streamline the process for you, First Super’s valued employers.

In accordance with the new system, First Super introduced a clearing house to assist you in complying with SuperStream requirements. The new system simplifies the task of paying employee super contributions, potentially saving your business significant time and resources.

As part of the shift, First Super has retired the Employer Login feature, which impacts your ability to generate Member numbers online for new employees. Instead, to generate a Member number please call or email Employer Services on 1300 943 171 / mail@firstsuper.com.au, quoting the following employee information:

  • First name
  • Surname
  • Date of birth
  • TFN
  • Address (residential)
  • Mobile number
