First Super’s Balanced option returned a healthy 13.59% for the 2012/2013 financial year.

FIRST Super has received authorisation from industry regulator APRA to offer MySuper products.

Many funds struggled to deliver positive returns for the last financial year. Not so First Super. Our relative defensive strategy for the main Balanced option delivered 2.5% for members – a modest return, but better than most comparable funds.

The government is planning to pay a new super contribution of up to $500 dollars annually into the super accounts of eligible low-income earners from the 2012-13 income year.
